Once you have turned 16 you are ready to learn to drive on the road.
What do you need to do?
Get along to your nearest Licensing Centre (Metro click here, Regional click here.) between 8.15am and 3.45pm Monday to Friday and bring the following:
At the Licensing Centre you will need to:
Complete the computer-generated theory test and score at least 24/30.
You can practise the theory test by clicking here.
Pass an eyesight test - take your glasses if you normally wear them
Declare whether you have a medical condition and / or take medication
